๐Ÿ. ๐”ป๐•š๐••๐•š?

The day arrived soon then expected...I'm going to complete my articleship. Everyone tried soo hard to stop me as just two days ago I fainted due to anxiety...or atleast that's what doctor says. But the very next day I got a call from assistant of CFO of Malviya group of Companies. He told me to join soon; as every other interns have already arrived and marked their arrival and also have setteled up there. But I was still at my home laying on my bed. I gave him a positive answer and assured him about my presence within two days.

I was sitting at Jamnagar railway station; in between my papa and Tanish, while my maa paced to and fro in tension. And ever time she reached me she gives me a piece of advice and again starts to pace around. Train honked from afar as the station lady informed us about it's arrival and soon the train door was in front of me. My papa hugged me tightly and cried and my maa broke in tears. But...Tanish was nowhere to be seen; maybe he left early. I planned on hugging him but since he left...no worries. I smiled at my parents before stepping in train and settling on my seat. I can't see maa crying anymore so I assured her with tears in my eyes, "Rona mat, bimaar pad jaogi. Hu pachi aavjo benpadi." As soon as I finished my sentence the train started to move while my hands felt cold after leaving it's warm embracing home. I sat straight trying to hide the unsheded tears.

As the moisture in my eyes began to fade, I suddenly became so aware of my surrounding. I was surrounded by boys, even from my weak eyesight, I saw all those boys gawking at me. And it made me uncomfortable. I tried to push myself in the corner of seat, trying to somehow be disappeared from here. Just then I noticed that everyone of them got busy with themselves, ignoring me as if I don't exist. Maybe they were trying to brace me with soothing words but after seeing me uncomfortable they moved their gaze. Involuntarily, a smile crawled up my lips and I lowered my eyes feeling comfortable. But the way to Bhopal was long, winding through distance.

An hour passed and I was still listening to music while the group of boys sitting in front of me enjoyed their friends time. I saw them doing crazy things making me smile and giggle in between my soothing tunes. Just then a boy walked towards me and stood in front of me with his hands politely locked. I saw him looking at me with hope and I read his lips that said "excuse me" as music was too loud to let any outer voice invade my ears. Watching his quite politeness I removed my earbuds and answered him with a "hmm". " Umm...didi wo...hume na thoda sa reel banana tha-" He was stuttering. Was I soo rude looking? I didn't even heard his full sentence and started to get up from my place saying, "Ha ha bana lijiye...jab ban jaye to ek baar awaz de dijiyega." He held my shoulder and made me sit again on my seat while he hurriedly said, "Are nai nai...aap pura to suniye...hume reel banana tha jisme...agar aap bura na mane to...kya aap humari maadad kar sakti hai?" I heard him with patience and when he ended, I don't know why but I said, "Kya?" Making him think that I didn't understood him. So he started to repeat his words but I stopped him saying, "Nai nai...wo to samajh aaya...or sunai bhi diya. Pr meri kya zaroorat h? Matlab...karna kya h? " I asked while smiling politely only to hear happy cheers from all around making me flinch.

They show me a video that had three girls and 2 boys in it and they wanted me to be in that reel. But, I was the only girl present at that moment and that too an introvert one. Me being curious, asked him out about the same. But he said, "Are app tension mat lijiye...humare pass ladkiya h." I looked at him with questionable eyes. He taking the cue whistled and ordered, "ladki leke aao reeee..." I raised my eyebrows with curiosity but after what I saw I wasn't able to control myself and brust out laughing. Two of his friends wore a long haired wig. But that's not the problem...the problem is...they had beard and mustache. Watching me laugh, everyone there laughed and giggled. I accepted their proposal of making reel with them and mentioned that I haven't ever made any reel, so they should manage if I laugh in between. They agreed and after more than 10 to 15 attempts we were able to make the reel.

Maa was worried about how will I manage myself? How will I stay away from bad people? And see me...I'm giggling and laughing with these boys. When there testosterone got satisfied they sat at there seats breathing heavily. The boy who asked me for video was sitting in front of me catching his breath while giggling in between. After few minutes of silence, he pulled himself up and asked me, "Didi aapka nam kya h? Itni der se aap hum log k sath h Or abhi tak humlog ek dusre ko jante bhi nahi." Taking the point I told them my name and that I'm 18 years old only to hear them gasp and they turn their head towards me...all of them and gawk at me as their eyeball will fall out anytime soon. "Kya hua? " I asked out of curiosity. One boy from them named Rahul started to speak on behalf of all of them, "Tum sach me 18 sal ki ho?? Tumhare maa papa ne tumhe ghar se bahar chod diya?" To which i replied him with, "choda ni h...articleship karne ja rahi hu Bhopal." They looked at me in awe and I asked them to introduce themselves to me. They started to tell me their name and age along with their profession. "I'm Rahul Chobey, 24 years old, engineer." "I'm Dev Banerjee, 22 years old, manager. " "I'm Shwet Tiwari, 24 years old, Architect." "I'm Amar Kheda, 22 years old, chemist." " I'm Digraj Trivedi, 23 years old, Professor." "I'm Daksh Malviya, 22 years old, C-...m-manager." I heard them introducing themselves one by one and and every time my eyes and mouth grow wider.

I also officially introduced myself as, " I'm Trishika, 18 years old, soon going to be CA intern in Malviya Group Of Companies."

End of pov

Trishika knew something was wrong when Daksh stuttered while introducing himself. But she let it go thinking maybe he didn't wanted to open up. But what she forgot was...he was the first person to ask her out in the beginning. Daksh on the other hand never wants to show off his profession so everytime he and his friends meet someone new, he introduce himself as a normal manager. And his friends always supported him.

But everyone's mind brust out of there head when they heard the name of company Trishika was about to be an intern of. They were all shocked. Everybody's eyes except Daksh drifted from Trishika to Daksh. It was totally awkward situation along with pin drop silence. To overcome this awkwardness, Daksh asked Trishika to exchange her numbers with everyone of them, "Trishika, kyu na humlog numbers exchange kar le? Since tumhe yaha 2 sal rehna hi h to...agar kabhi humara kahi ghumne ka plan bana to...tum bhi sath chalna. Waise bhi jaha tak mujhe lagta h tumhari company hum sabko pasand aai h to koi deny bhi ni karega. To kya kehti ho? " His friends became totally shocked as he never was the person to ask for number first. Trishika looked at everyone and said, "Umm...hum number to de denge but...agar mera schedule busy raha to hum ni aa payenge." They all aggreed and exchanged their numbers.

Time passed in a blur and they reached Bhopal. Now it was time to bid goodbye to one of the best journey. They smiled at each other and Daksh stepped near Trishika. He bend on his knees and touched Trishika's feet and placing his hand on his heart. Everything happened soo fast that Trishika was unable to react. Daksh got up, held his luggage and started to walk towards exit, while Trishika still stood there trying to understand what exactly happend there. Why that big tall man touched her feet for blessing? And instead of touching his head, why did he touched his heart? And why did he touched the feet of a girl younger than him?

Removing all the questions spinning in her little brain she took an exit from station and got a cab to drive her to her rented room. After 10 minutes of drive, now Trishika was standing in front of a structure which was going to be her shelter for 2 years. She got in her room and started to unpack her belongings and while giving her touch to the blank apartment, making it match her vibe. When everything setteled, she plunged herself on sofa that made her bounce a bit and made her comfortable enough to plan about the important day ahead. Trishika wanted everything to be perfect from her side atleast. So she planned what will she wear, at what time will she get up, what should be the level of politeness so it doesn't seem like she's sugar coating her words, etc, etc. She wanted her one of the biggest day to be perfect. But little did she knew that her life was going to take a major turn.

I was quitely sitting on my seat and minding my own business until Dev tapped my shoulder and signaled me to look in front of me. I rolled my eyes before following his eye note that indicated the view ahead only to get mesmerized by it. My eyes widened in awe as the lady sitting in front of me was soo beautiful...she reminded me of someone...someone who is more than just special for me. She was crying...her eyes held tears which were never supposed to be wasted on someone so futile. My heart raced as if I just ran a god damn marathon. When she raised her eyes and they met mine. Her eye were red, not from anger but from sadness...from guilt of leaving her hometown. She looked around and instantly lowered her eyes. I frowned in confusion before taking a look around. I let out a soft hiss as I saw my stupid friends gawking at her. Understanding my hiss they all started to look everywhere where she wasn't visible. She also rose her eyes at my hiss and saw everyone in a bit of confusion. After a while when she understood the situation she let out a small laugh and hung her head low.

Deep inside I knew, I would be meeting her soon but this first meet?? Its hilarious as well as soo beautiful. Never in my damn life I thought that her parents would have raised her so divinely. I tuned in with my friends as they insisted on making reels. We were scrolling through social media choosing the best reels to remake. We saw a reel that included three girls and 2 boys, and it was the best one in it, so I wanted to recreate it. And I also saw her getting bored in this long journey...so I decided to ask her out to join us. She agreed and joined us. After recreating that reel with too much of patience and laugh we sat introducing ourselves. Dev, Shwet and Digraj being the flirtious ones wanted to know if they have any chance with her...I can clearly say that as I am a man as well. But the thin string of hope broke when we got to know that she was still only 18 and was going to be an intern at Malviya Group Of Companies. Floor beneth my feet vanished when I heard the new information. All thanks to Mahadev ji who gave me enough sanity to hide my real identity.

Soon we reached our destination, The Nawabon Ka Seher - BHOPAL. It was crazy for how badly I missed this smell of Bhopal. It was time for our departure but I wanted to spend more time with her...with Trishika. Her motherly love, care and that beautiful smile totally resembles HER. I asked for her phone number just in case if needed. But since I fear interpreting myself as a freak asking a girl out, I made an excuse just so I don't feel guilt for making a little girl uncomfortable. When everyone started to walk away, my mind blew up with thoughts of having just a touch of her. And in a blur of seconds, I found myself bowing to her feet and touching it as if my life depends on it. The touch was soo unreal I felt my eyes getting wet. Soon I got up on my feet and turned towards my friends and saw them gawking at me. They were in a situation where their eyeballs can drop out of its sockets anytime. As we move forwrd towards our cars, Aman whispered in my ears, " Bhai...tu thik h na? Tereko pyar wyar to ni ho gaya??" I smacked his head saying, " Nai be...wo to maa h...maa se pyar ni prem hota h lala!!"
